Chiropractic is a crucial part of a healthy lifestyle, and we want all of our patients and prospective patients to know that we are going to give you our absolute best efforts to help you.

Before You Come in

Before your first appointment, we’ll have you complete some paperwork to save time. If you wish, you can also fill it out in the office. Please wear comfortable, athletic clothing. For example, if you’re having your shoulder worked on, a tank top is an ideal choice.

What to Expect

Dr. Austin will perform a problem-focused examination that looks at your body as a whole, with a detailed eye on your specific complaint areas. That portion of your appointment takes about 25 minutes.

Then for the final 20-25 minutes, he may provide various therapies, including decompression, laser therapy, myofascial release or chiropractic adjustment, depending on the severity of the condition.

Unless Dr. Austin identifies any red flags that may indicate imaging is needed, you’ll likely get adjusted at this first visit.

At the conclusion of your appointment, you will meet with Naomi at the front desk. She will let you know the costs of your care.

Please allow about 45 minutes for this appointment.

Financials

Here, there are never any surprises about cost. We are totally up front with our pricing, and we charge reasonable rates for the premium-level services we provide.

Please be aware that we are a self-pay practice and don’t accept insurance, but we will provide a superbill if you need one to submit to your insurance. You can also use your HSA for your chiropractic care.

Insurance Coverage

Unfortunately, we are not in network due to lack of reimbursement for the amount of time we spend with our patients. We do, however, accept Health Savings accounts and Flexible Spending accounts. Because of the extended time we spend with each patient, we have decided to dedicate our time to patient care versus insurance billing. As such, full payment is expected upon online booking or at the end of each visit. However, we will provide you with a superbill containing diagnostic and treatment codes that you will need to submit to your insurance company to get some of your payment back according to your out-of-network policies.
