Class IV Laser Therapy at

One of the ways we provide modern healing solutions to patients is through our Class IV medical laser, which works via a process called photobiomodulation. Our laser uses red light at a specific wavelength that penetrates deep into the body and causes the cells to produce ATP, a cellular energy that your body can use for healing and tissue regeneration. The laser also stimulates stem cell activity, increases circulation, and reduces inflammation and pain.
There are a myriad of uses for the laser ranging from combating Alzheimer’s or vascular dementia to healing broken bones or herniated discs in nearly half the time. There is a ton of great research available on the effectiveness and safety of laser therapy, research for yourself to see if it applies to you, or just ask.
Following a laser treatment, the body uses the ATP over the next 48 hours to ramp up healing. Some patients experience mild soreness after a laser treatment, but it is very infrequent. It is also well-studied and safe for all patients. We have a class 2 laser and a class 4 laser for patients looking for a more or less powerful treatment option.

You’ll get a consultation with Dr. Austin. Most of the time in our practice, people are introduced to laser therapy while getting a chiropractic adjustment or their first visit. He will suggest, offer, and explain a laser treatment. Most patients opt to have a treatment.
It’s mostly just consultation, usually within an adjustment, that we either use the laser as an adjunct, or find the laser is more effective for a patient’s particular issue (e.g. a torn muscle), than chiropractic work. Sometimes it’s cheaper for a patient to just get laser therapy, rather than having to do all of it.
It’s $65 for a 10-minute treatment with the laser. You can add it to your adjustment for just an additional $25 for a one-reason laser treatment.
Yes, there’s no risk associated with laser therapy.
Not at all. You’ll feel a slightly warm sensation that feels nice and therapeutic. Some people report mild soreness in the following two days following the laser, because it’s ramping up your healing response. Healing can feel a little inflamed, as not all the cells involved in the healing process are feel-good cells. Many of them are breaking things down and rebuilding.
