Chiropractic Care
Clearing the Interference
Chiropractic adjustments include correcting misalignments that cause pain and dysfunction, adjusting subluxations (where misalignment is causing distortion of the function of a spinal nerve), and maintaining the overall health and function of your brain, spinal cord, and spinal nerves by ensuring that your spine moves with proper biomechanics as a whole.
Our adjustments range from manual adjusting (popping and cracking as some people refer to it), instrument adjusting via the activator or integrator, drop table adjusting, decompression, and traction. Most people receive some combination of our wide range of techniques once we determine the best possible combination for your body. All of our adjustments are safe and gentle.

Our Techniques
Dr. Austin uses the following methods at his practice:
- Diversified Manual Adjusting
- Thompson Technique
- MC2
- Upper Cervical Technique
- Activator Methods®
We also employ myofascial release techniques to correct issues with the muscles that are contributing to dysfunction or keeping you from maintaining good alignment between adjustments.
At Ignite Chiropractic, Dr. Austin uses a combination of these techniques uniquely for every patient. “I use my toolbox to create a unique approach for every person. I see what works the best for them individually. I’m not going to apply a single technique to every person or the same combination of techniques to every person; it’s going to be customized to the individual,” said Dr. Austin.

The Value of Maintenance Care
While many people just seek chiropractic care when they’re in pain, and then discontinue care once they get relief, we encourage patients to come in for maintenance care. Just like getting your vehicle serviced at recommended intervals can keep it running smoothly, regular chiropractic adjustments can keep your spine aligned and your body healthy and happy!
